(Behind Picual and ahead of Hojiblanco) The Arbequino is recent decades has had high volumes of migration, being now a popular variety in olive oil regions in the world such as California and Chile (South America). Many of the olive trees you will see for ornamental use in North America are of the Arbequino variety.
A tip with Spanish linguistics: When speaking about the tree, Arbequino (-o) is used, and when speaking about the variety, Arbequina (-a) is used.
