Interesting facts about this evoo

This organic (EU certified) Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes olive groves on Mount Ida, the largest mountain in Crete, Greece's largest island.

Interestingly, in Greek mythology, Mount Ida is the birthplace of Zeus, the King of the Gods, and is where he was raised.

The Koroneiki is the most common olive in Greece that is used for the production of olive oil. (The Kalamata is thought to be the most common olive that's used for table olives)

This EU certified organic evoo comes from a single estate, single family. It's harvested early in the season (Early Harvest) and is cold extracted.

A further sign to the commitment to quality of this farming family, they transport their olives during harvest days in a customized refrigerated truck to the oil mill, in an effort to keep the temperature of the olives low. (Going above and beyond the industry standards of what cold extraction is)
